The Campaign Against the Covenant was a large scale war initiated by Harbitros and Domi Concordia after the Harbian Eclipse Agency discovered that the Azian nations of Northern & Southern Askersia, Cadarus, and Oreypt's governments were infiltrated and overtaken by Tulia Cultists and Neonassis.
The War[]
As the Global War on Terror raged on the continent of Azium, radical Tullists and Azian Neonassis allied themselves and infiltrated the highest positions in Azium's most influential nations. Upon several years of work towards their end goal, the infiltrators across Azium decreed their unification into the National Socialist Covenant of Azium -- a spiritual successor to the Hassock Empire. Several days after this breaking news, the HEA discovered that the Covenant was quickly militarizing droves of secret paramilitaries -- composed of Neonassis, Tullists, and mercenaries -- and immediately relayed the Intel to the Corporatocracy's highest spheres of influence. Upon hearing this news, Fiscal Patriarch Strebor Ekaj told Domi Concordia's embattled governour Jaxson Dunwall -- and together, the two superpowers declared war on the Covenant and moved in to invade. The Atonement of Harmony soon followed suit, and an army of over a million soldiers mobilized to Azium to immediately stomp out the regional insurrection.
Near the end of the battle, however, Jaxson Philip Dunwall was supposedly killed in a massive explosion after killing the Covenant's leading general. This led to Jaxson's brother, Isaac Dunwall, taking control of Domi Concordia. Upon this, the Concordians pulled out of the war -- after doing a large number of damage to the Covenant. The Corporatocracy of Harbitros' mercenary forces and the AoH Peacekeepers defeated what remained.
Aftermath[]
The Campaign Against the Covenant left the nations of Northern and Southern Askersia, Oreypt, and Cadarus in ruin. Due to the majority of the Neonassi influence stemming from Northern Askersia, Harbitros used the Atonement of Harmony to forcibly split the country into two new ones -- a new, smaller Northern Askersia and Eastern Askersia. This major defeat of the Neonassis and Tullists led to an exponential decline in violence in the Global War on Terror.
