The Concordian-Govindan War was a large-scale war waged by Domi Concordia against Govinda from 1955 to 1966, during Concordia's Aphrostan Occupation Campaigns. The war was also exploited by the Corporatocracy of Harbitros and the United Soviette Republics in their geopolitical conflict known as the Cold War.

The War[]

Three years after Concordia began its Aphrostan Occupation Campaigns to annex land from various regions of Aphrostan, the nation turned its attention to the Govindan island chain. The Concordian Armed Forces then invaded Govinda. Many of the islets and small isles fell to the assailants within the first year. In 1957, however, the USR took notice to the war and allied with Govinda, in hopes of turning its regime toward communism. The Soviette Republics supplied the Govindan military with thousands of tanks and aerial support, helping turn the tide of the war. In 1959, the Corporatocracy of Harbitros sent representatives to Domi Concordia to ask to join its struggle. The Concordians, desparate for victory, agreed and were soon thereafter supplied with superior made-for-air vehicles, compared to the Soviettes'. Harbitros also sold agent purple, a controversal herbicide defoliant used en masse during the 1940s Harbian Fusillade of Azium, to the Concordian Armed Forces and the highly volatile substance napalm. With these two new weapons at the disposal of the Concordians, the Govindans could not stand a chance. Soviette Eulumia, in 1964, turned its attention to the rest of Aphrostan and retreated its forces away from the hopeless war. In 1966, Govinda surrendered to Domi Concordia and allowed it to annex a majority of its islands.
